But all fine jewelry will need a proper care over time. Using a soft cloth such as one used for eyeglasses may help remove stains and keep the luster from going dull on the jewelry. It is recommended to take off your jewelry before going into the shower, as chemical compositions in the water such as chlorine and sulfur can tarnish sterling silver. If tarnishing does occur for whatever reason, either use a polishing cloth, bring it to your local jeweler or send it to us to receive a free professional care service that includes polishing & cleaning the jewelry piece or gemstone.
